School starts again tomorrow. It’s a depressing thought. Almost as depressing as >>Scotland’s democratic rights being buggered around with. I may be pro-independence but hell if they held a referendum and the people said no, well I’d just accept it.. the point is Scots aren’t getting the choice, and that; is un-democratic.
I’ve tried to quit smoking so many times now that it’s ridicules. I’m not giving up hope though and in another burst of inspiration I decided to spend the wee pocket of cash I’ve made from the donations on this site on a book. Allen Carr’s method is supposedly excellent. So I’ll give it a bash, the book’s supposed to arrive by the 15th.
Scamp’s doing really well. He’s a bugger to train when we get outside though. He just can’t contain himself, he’s so happy to see everyone and everything, you can almost hear him singing ‘ohhhh what a beautiful mornningggg’ when he steps out of the front door. Sometimes I wish I could speak to someone who’s trained sniffer dogs, or hunting dogs.. unfortunately most hunting dogs seem to be scared shitless of their masters (not something I want my doggy to be). Negative reinforcement, like in the army perhaps. They also starve their dogs before they go on the hunt, which I suppose is why they’re so damn skinny and why hunting type people on the street say that my dog is fat. The way to tell if a dog is fat is to see if you can feel their ribs with your fingers, I can feel Scamp’s ribs and he has a waist-line and he’s happy so they can all bugger off ;P

Aye, an independent Scotland would be a nice thing, but I’d still prefer a Scotland composed of anarchist communities (or some such). Perhaps we should set up a campaign called Anarchist and Radical Scotland for Everyone to free your people from the United Kingdom?
It’s a shame the gang hasn’t gathered at full strength for some time now. I guess we’re all too poor to travel…

:) civilian service eh? Lauri has a car now but since school started again today and Minttu’s always working as is Lauri and yourself, there’s hardly time for anything. We should do something though, the question is what.. and where.. and who with.. it’s a bugger.
Am not sure I’d prefer anarchist communities :D been there, done that, killed a lot of people.

I really enjoyed Allen Carr’s book. Though I did not utilize all concepts, I certainly managed to change my attitude!

You have plenty of time if you quit smoking now, to not lose the elasticity and facial collagen and to maintain healthy looking skin.

Am afraid so. But doesn’t Lauri have a gig soon? Maybe we can catch up there?
Not sure if anarchist communities have actually killed a lot of people, except maybe in Spain when the fascists were figthing against them. Even then I’m not sure. Please tell me if you know other examples.
