I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and lived there till I was 17, then I moved to Finland and have been staying here ever since. I study, work and take care of a Finnish Hound puppy, two budgies, a tortoise and a boyfriend. I like Carnivore, Type O Negative, The Pixies, Rasputina and a zillion other bands. I also play bass in a band ;P

Well once more I felt inspired to create something so here it is.. my Quit Smoking Plugin. Basically it calculates that counter you can see on the right. It’s free of course so if you have a Wordpress blog and you’ve quit smoking give it a bash, you might be surprised by the statistics.

Stopping smoking is a pain in the arse. The first three days you go through physical withdrawal which isn’t too bad, I managed that part no problem. The problems started on day 4, depression.. weird hormone fluctuations and a general feeling of ‘bleugh’. Yesterday I cried quite a lot, today I don’t feel like crying but I’m getting the odd crave. Doesn’t seem too bad today actually. Day 6 and I’m feeling the benefits of escaping smoking. When it all comes down to it, a few weeks of ick is a worthy price to pay for a lifetime of not smoking, not smelling, not dying, not being completely poor and being able to breath normally.
It appears that moblogging from my phone and email are both working again, actually not ‘appears to be working’ I fixed it see? ;) I thought about it yesterday and decided that my phone is far too flashy to just be used for phone calls, so now I have email working (checked every hour) and moblogging. By the by if you have far too much time on your hands and want to send me a wee note to my mobile, the email addy’s mobileREMOVE@THISharleyquine.com. Wish I had messenger on my phone.. oooh that’d be really kewl, then I could just message all day long.. maybe not so kewl, I’d never get anything done. Anyhoo getting email on my phone is groovy, it gives my fingers something to do, and no doubt gives the money I’ve saved from smoking something to do too ;)

Once more I’m testing moblogging to see what it can do. It’d be nice if I could get it working like it used to.

Is it just me or is there something seriously funky with this picture? The width of her face looks bigger than the width of her body. That can’t be right surely?? Doctored me thinks… if it were real wouldn’t she be falling over with a big fat bobble-head look?
