Internet Screw-Up’s

If it ain’t broke.. don’t fix it.

First rule of computing that I consistently disregard. I have a Wippies HomeBox. It was great. It connected all by itself if my internet poofed. It let me wander round my flat and probably round the building. I decided to attach my printer to its USB port cos according to their wiki you can do that now, then disaster struck. The modem can’t get any data anymore. It flashes it’s wee sync light at me and if it had a voice I’m sure it’d be screaming. It could have been so cool having the printer there, then I was planning on putting the external hard drive there too.. my laptop would be truly wireless. But no. The modem had other ideas and no matter what I try, how much I beg and how much I beat it, it still won’t work. All my dreams have died and now I’m back to using an ethernet cable.. how sad. I’ll probably sit here waiting for Wippie support to email me back and of course they won’t email for a few days, could get smelly. I suck.

The spam stopper lurvesss to eat comments but I fish them out whenever I can. Don't panic if Akismet thinks you're spamming.. I'll know better ;P I get a huge volume of spam and mail from this site but I do try to reply in a timely manner, if I've overlooked it's not cos you smell or anything ;oP~~
