I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and lived there till I was 17, then I moved to Finland and have been staying here ever since. I study, work and take care of a Finnish Hound puppy, two budgies, a tortoise and a boyfriend. I like Carnivore, Type O Negative, The Pixies, Rasputina and a zillion other bands. I also play bass in a band ;P

My Author Adsense Plugin has been updated and now has some rather smart functions. It’s much easier to use and with a bit of luck is more compatible. Not only that.. but this blog is updated to 2.3.2! Yayyy.. the plugin btw is 2.3 and upwards compatible. Today has been a very geeky day.. and I’m knackered now. So to bed I go! Oh yeah and please leave problems/bugs etc in the comments of the Author Adsense Plugin page because I get comments straight to my mailbox and can deal with them faster. Thankyeee and good night.

Those of you who enjoy stalking me will know that I was in Scotland for Christmas and New Year ;P I got back a week ago and have been enjoying hanging out with the cat, dog and Lauri since then. I was in school all day today and the pressure is building faster than Bob the Builder knocking a bird-house together on amphetamines. Maths is a big concern.. but that’s only because I haven’t started thinking about the ‘Finnish as a second language’ exam yet. Who are they trying to kid? I’ve barely mastered my first language never mind attempting to stuff my head with a second one.
Then there’s psychology in Finnish which borrows a lot of technical terms from English but still decides to stick an i on the end just for fun. Only three final exams and I’m done! Till then though I have my prelim exams which are going to be crap and it’ll show just how lazy I’ve been this year :S Then it’ll be work work work for the finals because I want to pass and get my sailor hat (it’s not really a sailor hat you get when you graduate here, but it does look like one. Will do my best not to break out into a hornpipe if I get one).
<========= that’s the hat. On another note I had Muhi and Scamp to the vet today and they both got injections and a thermometer up their bums. Muhi gave out an almighty yowl but Scamp took it like a man. Wasn’t his first time you know. They’re both sleeping now and as any pet owner knows; sleeping pets, are good pets.
I just had a battle with my printer and it won. Black ink cartridge was empty so I refilled it using the ink needle things I have (messy at the best of times) but.. it decided to leak inside the printer and the damn thing wouldn’t even switch on last time I tried and I have a ten page essay to print out on globalism. That sounds impressive doesn’t it? Until I tell you that it’s the same essay printed out in English and Finnish.. oh wait still sounds impressive.. till I tell you that I had to print them out in both languages just in case my teacher doesn’t understand my pig-Finnish or pig-English and I think I just got some ink in my ear. Great.
