Lost wrapped up in 8:15 minutes.
The video above has to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Turns out I had missed a few crucial episodes from season 3. It still doesn’t explain everyyyything but at least it moves the plot on a bit more. Season 4 is still going slowly, tonight I was bored to death watching Kate and Sawyer and Kate in the future where she’s stolen/taking care of baby Aaron. Sorry if I ruined it for you there ;P Wonder how this will pan out. I’ve been sick of Kate’s character for ages now, she just will not make up her mind and pick either Jack or Sawyer, and she does the whole ‘flirty flirty with you, flirty flirty with someone else, I just can’t decide because I’m sooooo confused’ thing. Which is annoying.. oh yeah and she’s bu-tiful and skinny so no doubt the little green monster is involved somewhere :D seriously though.. she must really stink, they all must, yet here they are snogging and getting it on, and where is Kate’s armpit hair? She usually wears jeans so that’s good for covering leg hair but surely by now she’d be sporting an arm-bush??

Every Sunday night I sit down to watch Lost. Three seasons we’ve had and all that’s happened is that it’s become more confusing with every episode. I might be confused because I have the IQ and memory of a goldfish.. or it might be that the show likes to annoy its viewers. I want to know…
What that big monster thing was that snatched the co-pilot out of the cockpit.
Why Derek can travel through time and predict things?
Why was Penny on that screen just before Charlie died?
What’s the whole point of the Dharma Initiative?
Why are we seeing the cast in the future?
What’s the big black smoke thing?
What was going on with the priest guy?
Why is Locke such a pain in the bum and doesn’t answer any questions?
What are the numbers?
Who were the native folk that were walking through the jungle (kid dragging the teddy bear) and were they the Others or what?
Why doesn’t someone beat the crap out of Ben and make him tell them what the Others were up to?
Why are the people on the island so dumb that they don’t demand to be taken to the ship?
Why does everyone have a stupid agenda?
I have about a zillion other questions.. if anyone has the answers.. feel free to share :) Till then I’ll watch, but if I don’t get any answers this season then that’s it. It’s been three seasons already (the first one was pretty good and self-contained) and I’m fed up of feeling confused when watching it.

This evening I’ve been exploring some issues on this WP installation.. it’s so easy to forget that other people might want to sign up and subscribe to comments etc.. didn’t even realise I had registration off ;) way to go me. Anyway that’s back on now and visitors can subscribe to topics, create avatars and stop being Dodgy Geezers. I’ve also customised the Dashboard and done a few more backend modifications. If you’ve had trouble subscribing to comments then please let me know, the only way I can find out when something goes wrong is if you tell me. The Hire Me page was private… it shows to admin but not to you, now it’s public again because I am indeed for hire again (should be studying of course but nevermind) small jobs will be accepted but am not starting any new projects till my exams are over.
On another note I’ve been watching the idiot-box too much. Double episode of Dr. Who today on UKTV gold.. tomorrow’s set to be the same kind of day cos there’s an Only Fools and Horses marathon on. So much for studying ;)

They’re making major improvements to The Sims Online. Actually they’re pretty much fixing all the problems that they had with it. I got an email this morning saying ‘come and try it out’ so of course.. now I’m downloading it. 12% done. When I first signed up for TSO I thought it was rather nifty, and spent many an hour building houses and stores. The biggest problem was that there was never anyone online, so the shop didn’t do very well and I got bored of hanging around not talking to anyone. Alphaville was quite busy but since most people were AFK and the place was so big, no-one went wandering around so it was quite depressing.
The other problem I kept hearing about was that it was so easy to get money. People were literally throwing it away and whenever I created a character I was bound to get a lot of dosh from someone. In this new EA-Land they say it’s basically starting from scratch and with a new economy.. and.. CUSTOM OBJECTS! Yayyyy.. I can finally make my Pete Steele picture and stick it on my wall. They will also have some scripting objects and people who create custom stuff can make real dosh from it. So… I’m gonna go have a look and see what’s what. There has to be some reason I learnt to skin and create objects.. there just has to be a reason other than my ability to faff around and waste time doing things no-one appreciates :)

Well the Author Advertising MU Plugin is completed. It’s been tested on the latest version of Wordpress MU and includes widgets and a zillion other groovy things. While I was looking around I came across something rather annoying.. a certain site is offering an MU plugin for Adsense that came out around the time I made mine and guess what?? The tag of the person who seems to be running that site also bought one off me? I dunno which scenario is worse.. that he hated my plugin enough to go make his own, or that he stole mine, modified it a bit then passed it off as his own work. I shall have to investigate.
Anyhoo the new MU plugin.. there’s no reason to hate it.. it’s awesome :D go see.
