I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and lived there till I was 17, then I moved to Finland and have been staying here ever since. I study, work and take care of a Finnish Hound puppy, two budgies, a tortoise and a boyfriend. I like Carnivore, Type O Negative, The Pixies, Rasputina and a zillion other bands. I also play bass in a band ;P

The two items in the title really shouldn’t go together but that’s how my brain works. I hate studying especially when I know it’s too late (i.e the night before the exam) for me to actually learn anything, so I decided to do a spot of gardening. Oh and also a spot of picture taking of my plants. Sad though it may seem there is now a page on this site dedicated to my darling plants. They go through so much torture and pain that I decided they needed a page of their own, ooh and a category of their own.
Spring is in the air (sort of) but snow is still on the ground so technically I suppose it’s still winter :S Anyway.. I like watching things grow and with any luck all of my plants will start that growing business soon.
I have a psychology exam tomorrow which I’ll probably fail. Too many stupid words and I’m too stupid and this isn’t an exam I can just blab my way out of cos it’s in Finnish and blabbering in Finnish is reserved for native Finns once they get drunk. Sober you can’t get a word out of them. At least it’ll all be over this time tomorrow. No more exams.. no more proper school. I may have to do a few courses but they’re not even on offer next school period. Well.. booger it. I think an early night and early start is in order. Shower… PJ’s… bed. Yep.

5 minutes later… It’s freakin MONDAY!! I forgot that it’s Monday. Of course everything goes down the crap hole on a Monday! Phew that’s that explained. Will go to bed early and enjoy Tuesday.

Ah the gullible human has decided to vacuum. Terrible racket that thing makes, dreadful, absolutely dreadful. Hmm…it appears to be occupied by its half-hearted attemps of sanitation. Jolly good, jolly good, think this is a opportune time for a minor snack. I smelled earlier that my good friend sir Cat has been doing the thing he does lately…best investigate while the cretin-jailer is busy…hmm…yes capitol! A fine body of poop. Newly baked as well, must be christmas time! Chompchomp, yes, delightful, wonderful texture….feeding you well are they sir cat? Capitol, capitol…think i should spare a wonderful specimen of cuisine like this to be enjoyed in the kitchen. Hmm perfect, yes….what are you looking at eh? Can’t a gentlehound of leasure enjoy his…what are you doing?! How dare you lay hands on me you…you…OAF! Me a bad boy? Take a look in the mirror you blasted monkey! Ouch…nononono…don’t put in in the toilet! A treat lik…oh you did it now! Now you’ve done it you son of and impure ape! I AM pedigree I’ll have you know. You intolerable, uncivilized…BARK! This is really the kind of thing that makes my bottom itch…sigh…fine, have your stinking poop! I’ve seen the things you eat…nevermind…no matter. You can’t stay up all night. I’ll get the brown delights, sooner or later. Think i might as well leave a little surprise on this cheap little carpet here! “welcome”. why yes hello, please meet my excrement, prprprprprpp! See you flush THAT in the toilet as well, eh? So sir cat, up for a bit running and chasing? The old one-two special eh? Jolly good, jolly good.

What a misery guts I am today. All I feel like doing is moping around and I have no drive to do anything. My first exam is exactly one week away. This stupid bloody AICE diploma has got me in a tizzy. Muhi’s getting his balls off on Wednesday so that’ll be interesting. He’s running around right now playing with a piece of string not a care in the world. Lauri’s sitting on his laptop playing around with Guitar Pro and Scamp’s on the bed chewing on a bone.
I know that there’s nothing that can be done until I speak to a laywer but the aggro in the meantime will drive me mad. It’d be cool if I could paint or do something but I have no canvas at the moment and Lauri won’t drive me to get some.
I filled in a job application for a few of the local supermarkets, since I’m not getting my diploma it’ll probably be all I can do, even then though, it’s bloody hard to get into a supermarket to work. Misery misery misery guts.

Well well.. this last week has been something else. Turns out that I won’t be getting my AICE diploma after all. The school/school board have messed up quite badly and now my three years studying there have left me with nothing but debt. Won’t go into too many details but I’m seeking legal advice to see if there’s anything that can be done.
I have my final exams for my second diploma in 9 days and of course I should have been studying as oppose to worrying about my main diploma. Since I found out the news I’ve had quite a few sleepless nights, not to mention my face breaking out into a war zone with both sides of the Zit campaign holding frequent skirmishes. Not only that but I’ve come down with the flu. So all in all a bloody excellent week.
Today I went comfort food shopping and came back home laden with goodies including a lot of diluted juice, pork, tuna and a heap of other foods that weren’t strictly necessary. All I can do now is try to relax and get over this flu so that I can at least make an attempt at studying.
Muhi and Scamp are both doing well. My friends had their two cats neutered today and I really do have to get my cat into the vet as well. Will phone on Monday and book an appointment. Tortuga has just stuffed her face with cucumber and is snoozing in the corner of her tank (like she does anything else) and I cleaned up the budgie’s mirror because it was covered in (what I can only assume is) budgie breath. So now even though there are two of them, they can spend their days looking in their own mirrors and imagining life on the other side as oppose to keeping each other company.
Lauri has buggered off to a gig in the city. I was gonna go but snotty noses and sore heads coupled with loud heavy music and bright lights do not make a nice couple. Last Friday we were all out in Rock Town and there was some awful band there. There was also this rock disco type thing, so I ended up dancing in public :O. In Scotland my family dance quite a lot, and I also did dancing for 11 years, but here in Finland the act of dancing is very much frowned upon.. well not really but they don’t have any decent music to dance to.
