Playing silly buggers…

My Wippies homebox.Well… yesterday I switched on my laptop and discovered that it couldn’t find my home wireless network. I’ve been using a Wippies homebox for a few years and didn’t have any problems before. So after having it out with my laptop, with Lauri.. with the dog.. I finally gave up. There was no logic to it, my mobile connected fine but the laptops wouldn’t. So today I got onto my friends internet connection and posted in the Wippies forum and you know what they suggested? To re-boot… then if that doesn’t work reset… and if that still didn’t work to change the frequency via the Wippies control panel. I had re-booted a zillion times so I gave the reset a try and lo and behold it worked! Why oh why didn’t I think of that before? Sometimes it’s the little things that can be the most annoying. Anyone else had computer problems that turned out to be something simple or I am alone in the world with my stupidity?
