Script Updates

I installed WordPress 2.7 on my testing domain in order to update all of my plugins. I found a bug in Interlinks and fixed it but it has no problems with 2.7.

Author Advertising Plugin is a bit funkier. A few users have complained that it’s not working with 2.7 but when I tried it, it was working fine. Am waiting to hear back from those users to find out what’s going on.

The Short URL Plugin has also been updated and writes the htaccess rules when a user updates their permalink structure and the file structure is now the same as 2.7 i.e in a sub-folder in plugins as oppose to just in plugins. Re-install the script using the automatic install features of WordPress 2.7. Am not too keen on the htaccess feature as it may cause more problems than it solves.

    Hi Harley
I have had a friend modified Author Advertising to include a 3rd slot ID for Adsense. This allows me to have 3 different ads for each author on a page. As we all know this is the max Google will allow. It is working great on WP 2.7
My question is whats new in new release of AA and is it worth upgrading bearing in mind I would have to trouble my friend to reinstall adslot 3.
If you decide to add more adslot positions then that would be really neat.
