Yeah I’m using the standalone version. All I really need is for to load no more than 100 at a time and offer an index of 1 2 4 5 6 pages etc… at the bottom.
Im sure the next ceiling would be several thousand away, which is fine.
Please let me know, if you get around to messing with it. Its wonderful as is, just need a simple add. Or at least I think it would be simple.

I’ve been using your “Short URL”, script for a few weeks. im at about 400 entries now and its kinda of a pain in the ass to work woth. Primarily because not always will the full 400 entries load. Sometimes all will load and times times it will get stuck at amount 200-300… Then wont allows me to post more url’s…
What the hell can I do man? Can we move this to maybe a MySQL database for fast loading? OR can you fix my script so it loads only 100 at a time then i can click on the next page for each 100 and so on…?
Please help out, and btw your script kicks ass….
Dodgy GeezerHmmm… I take it you’re using the standalone version of Short URL right? I’m gonna have to go digging in that code at some point. It does use a MySQL DB. I’ll have a look at the code when I get a chance.. it’s in serious need of an upgrade anyway so no doubt there’s some stupidity on my part that I’ve stuck in there..

I want to ask you if you can set up a modified version for me.
It’s very simple: I am the administrator of a multi-author blog and so I want to display some notes to the authors on the dashboard.
I already created a plugin which imports a static php-file into a subpage of the dashboard. But each time I have to add something new to the page, I have to upload the new file via FTP.
I think it would be best to be able to edit the file in the backend, similar to the theme editor.
So what I want you to do is to create a plugin, width which I can either edit a php file placed in the plugin folder via the options menu, or to create a plugin, which ads a new database table to my wordpress database and stores the text in this table (inlcuding an editor, in whch I can edit the text, similar to the Author Advertising Plugin).
How much time would it take to program such a plugin ?
