Author Adsense Plugin
This plugin has been made redundant by my Author Advertising Plugin which is very similar to this only it’s not Google Adsense specific. The change had to be made due to Google updating their code and the fact that Google likes being too big for its boots :) The new plugin does everything this Adsense plugin did only giving more flexibility to admin and more options for other advertising programs. Thanks to everyone who supported Author Adsense and I hope you’ll continue to use Author Advertising its big brother. Oh yeah and Author Advertising is free too of course ;P

your plugin seems to break my template — in a strange way. when activated, all title tags and the name of my blog disappear. i had version 4 installed previously and it worked fine (same template), but i wanted to upgrade because of the new features. ;-)
Dodgy Geezeri guess it has something to do with the first ad slot (in header.php under description), although it’s activated. i tried the kd_template_ad(type) function but my blogtitle is still missing. i’m using wordpress 2.3.2 on a php 5 apache server.

sorry, of course i meant although it’s NOT activated.

Hiya Simon,
What funky errors cos the plugin doesn’t do anything about those automatic headers unless they’re activated. Did you remove the previous template customisations from the old version? I admit they were a pain in the bum hence the update. I’m gonna look into it. Do you have a custom template or is there a place I can download the one you’re using? The plugin works great with the default theme but can be funky with other ones.

Thanks but it’s NOT activated.

Will the ads of the authors only who up in the posts they wrote? and not in the admin’s posts or the posts of other authors?
Thanks for the plugin BTW, you’re a goddess ;)
Dodgy GeezerApril 24th, 2008 at 9:46 pm
Yep only in the posts that they write. Admin’s ad’s show site-wide and if you check random home then author ad’s also show on the home page.
